An aBRIDGEd version

Marathon Day 4, Location 4: Prague

You guessed milestone No. 1. Today is my 21st birthday, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. It's exciting to celebrate in Spain. I had my last day of work and last day of classes, which is sad because having the opportunity to take classes in a foreign country is something I truly relish. Otherwise, I'm packing for Germany and had the most amazing dinner with a great friend. Italian food. Mmm.

As for milestone No. 2, this is Tirando Cobre's 50th post. I knew it was coming and timed it exactly with my birthday, and multimedia from PRAGUE! So here it is, finally. I'll try to post more photos when I get back to the states, or at least work on some captions. The three videos below in order come from a morning on Charles Bridge, the view from a tower in St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle, and the changing of the guard ceremony at the castle. I made both photo collages myself.

That's about it, next check-in might be from Germany, so we'll just have to wait and see. Enjoy ...

Well Josh - since I've known you 21 years, and I know you somewhat well, I would never have guessed that the second milestone was 50 postings. I just know you've outdone yourself on the blog and I will def. miss reading your adventures. Of course - I realized today that your bar mitzvah was exactly 8 years ago to the day - also the first day of hanukah in 1999 and your 13th birthday. As you visit Dachau, remember what you were doing 8 years ago, reading the torah and celebrating. Maybe it will take away the pain of what you are about to see. Be well and stay safe and keep warm. Madrid weather looks pretty good.

Oh my, like they say, "I can't believe the whole thing." Your blogs and photos are just unbelievable.

I think you should stay there for another semester and visit more places or go back to the ones you loved. (Hope mom doesn't read this). You know there are many wonderful places near Ithaca like the Finger Lakes and you should definitely see them since you will eventually be getting a car soon enough I imagine.

Enjoy every single moment for the next 10 days or so and I can't wait to see you and celebrate your birthday and Chanukah with the gang.

Love you much,

Bubby
